My husband and I live on a small hay farm. We grow horse-quality hay without the use of chemicals and we remove any noxious weeds by hand. Our hay is a 5-grass species mix, with a varying amount of alfalfa mixed in depending on the time of year.
From our 2009 crop
We offer our hay to clients first at a competitive market price, then advertise any excess hay to the public. Price depends on our cost to bale it and whether we stack the hay before pickup. Delivery in small quantities is available for a fee.
