All teamwork training services (any combination of private riding instruction and horse training) are charged at $44/hour at your home or barn. Although I do not charge a trip fee, I do require appointment length minimums to adequately cover the cost of travel. Below is a list of minimums:
1 hour: Up to 40 miles round trip
1.5 hours: Up to 60 miles round trip
Two hours: Up to 80 miles round trip
If I can schedule multiple clients in the same general area on the same day, the minimum for each client usually decreases. I handle each of those cases individually, so let's talk if needed.
Payment is due at the time of service. Cash and checks are both welcome, but there is a $20 fee for returned checks. Please make checks payable to Kristin Schuett (NOT Freely Equine).
Personal shopping with you, such as for horses or horse trailers, is charged on a case-by-case basis based on the number of hours I’m shopping with you and whether you drive or I drive.
Group riding lessons of 2-6 people: $32/hour
Trail lessons of 3-5 people: $50 for the first horse/rider, then $25 for each additional horse or rider from the same family
Refer a friend: After your friend’s third paid session, any service, receive 25% off your next session
If you must cancel a session, you will not be charged if you notify me before 8:00 a.m. the day of your session. Otherwise, you will be charged the full amount for your session unless you can find another client in your same area to take your time slot. However, if I arrive to find the horse ill or injured, I will gladly reschedule at no extra charge to you. Last-minute weather changes are also acceptable circumstances for canceling an appointment without penalty.
