I teach you and your horse to work together better as a team using concepts involved in natural horsemanship—communicating clearly and gently with your horse using cues that speak the horse’s language, not just yours. This involves relying more on your body language and weight cues and less on your reins or voice. The result is a partnership that feels almost effortless, requiring less work for you and your horse.
I teach English (hunt seat) and Western to youth and adults, from beginning to intermediate levels, including jumping. After each lesson, I keep a written log of what we worked on, our results during the lesson, and which goals to strive for at the next lesson.

Photo by Diane While I’m teaching, I make sure you understand why I ask you to do something so it makes sense. I also use technical explanations, analogies, and demonstrations on your own horse to tailor each lesson to your preferred style and pace of learning. |
